An old friend introduced me to these while he was visiting NZ.  I am so impressed with the results that I am importing them from Japan.  As far as I am aware they are the original ionfield toothbrush and from what I have heard are a lot less troublesome than the later battery operated ionic ones.

When the new toothbrushes arrived, my 9 year old daughter Maniana got them out and started brushing her teeth... she got so excited about the fact that she didn't have to use any toothpaste and as she was brushing away, she kept making comment about how amazing it felt... that night she tied up the toothbrush beside her bed and when I woke her up in the morning, she was already awake and brushing her teeth in bed! I got an instant result the first time I used the ionic toothbrush, I brushed for about 2 minutes and when I spat out , the liquid was brownish, I was surprised and looked at my teeth to find them whiter than they had ever been before ( up until that time I had been using natural toothpaste with a electric tooth brush. )

After the 3rd day of using the brush I noticed that my receded gums on several of my teeth had grown back up! This was a concern for me, considering the non results from my previous endeavours Im extremely pleased with the brush. I also noticed my breath has changed , having suffered occasionally from halitosis.

Ion Toothbrush which can be used without toothpaste

 

Magnesium and Proton Ion Toothbrush for plaque control has been invented in order for our human being to enjoy good health and to prevent the environmental pollution on the Earth. Ion Toothbrush has better plaque removing potential than conventional toothbrushes by making use of the electric potential difference between precious metals and base ones, which generate both voltage of 0.8 ­ 1.8 and electric current of 20mA ­ 1200mA in the water as well as minus ion. l The brush is made of Nylon supplied by DuPont. The hardness is medium.
l Toothbrush can stand the temperature under 80 centigrade.         

Toothbrush Instructions

This toothbrush that has been tested by dentists in the U.S. and Japan with very exciting results.  If you wish to conduct your own test, please talk to your dentist and design a protocol that will give you a baseline and then record changes over a 60-day period.

The brush requires no toothpaste. You can use a little sea salt or a small amount of baking soda if you wish, but it is not necessary, as water alone is effective. The occasional use of sea salt or baking soda will stimulate the gums and enhance the ionic effect.

 

The bristles and head of the brush should be moistened with cold water. Then simply brush your teeth thoroughly for 1-2 minutes, being sure to work the bristles well along the gumline and inner surfaces of teeth.  Give special attention to any problem areas and deep pockets. Then rinse with cool water.

The two metal disks in the back of the head create a strong anti-bacterial action. You may notice a short period of reaction from your gums when you first start to use the brush, but this is a sign of healing and will pass in a few days.

If your dentist does a bacterial test before you start to use the brush, and then checks again after about 14 days, the findings should be quite clear.
